Mothers of Sons on Death Row Speak Out
Mother's Day 2006

On Mother's Day 2006, People of Faith Against the Death Penalty (PFADP) organized an event with three mothers who have sons on death row in North Carolina. Participating were Roberta McNeill and her husband Elmer, who are residents of Charleston, South Carolina. Their son, Elmer Ray McNeill, Jr., is on death row. Also participating was Peggy Kandies, resident of Goose Creek, South Carolina, whose son, Jeff Kandies, is also on death row in North Carolina.
