In December 2005, 24 Christian activists from the United States set out to attempt to visit the prisoners held at the U.S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay. The group walked for 5 days, for over 65 miles, and arrived at the military zone boundry calling on the Bush Administration to let them in. Access was denied, and a four day fast and vigil was maintained at the fence in a witness against torture and illegal detention. The following photos documenty this historical journey.
